I graduated with honors from Brown University in 2001, with a B.A. in a major I designed myself entitled “Freedom and Education.” Since then, I have worked with hundreds of students in grades K-12, with a focus on middle and high school students.
My students and their parents often describe me as “not just a tutor, but a life coach.” I not only make difficult material accessible and enjoyable, but I work holistically with each student to develop an individual approach specific to his or her unique needs and goals. My approach is compassionate, patient, caring and effective.
Together we address all aspects of the test-taking and learning process, from content and strategy to focus, stamina and confidence. My unique ability to connect with students enables me to identify their challenges and help them maximize their strengths. My goal is always is to make the experience of standardized testing, school admissions or just surviving math class as painless and positive as possible for students and parents alike.
